which 1 would u pick, and y?

on the 5.0 or 4.6, my plan is to do h/c/i, stronger internals, and either a s/c or turbo

just wondering, b/c if i get this job i applied for today, im just gonna save up for a '94-98 GT instead of building the '82

its a tough decision b/c-

5.0- they r easier to work on, and more parts for them
4.6- can install pi h/c/i and get good results, an ive always wanted 1

if you are stuck between the two gt's, then the 5.0 all the way... its easy to work on, parts are a lot of the time cheaper, and IMO,
they just sound better. if you had a little more to spend, then i would say a 96-98 cobra, but the GT 2v 4.6's do not excite me all that much,

between the 94-98's, 4.6 FTW!!! now if we're talkin a 93 and older fox or notch, i say the 5.0!

why would you say that you could build a 9495 motor just as easy as a foxbody

my guess behind his reasoningis because the foxes had the factory forged pistons, but he is partially incorrect, ford
switched to cast in 93, so the 93-95 5.0s had cast pistons, where as the 87-92 had forged... this explains why horsepower dropped from
225 in 92' to 215 in 93, and torque from 300 in 92' to 285 in 93'. :thumb:

like the saying goes, theres no replacement for displacement so the higher displacement is gonna have a higher potential 99% of the time.
