Hp is difficult to achieve with stock 2v heads. The intake ports and tiny intake valve stalls to fill the chamber where piston speed is demanding.

This is the very reason why the 2v 5.4l swap is not popular. I enjoy the insane driving torque output, but the masses wants hp and its not gonna happen with stock 2v heads. I recall one fellow achieved 317rwhp(mustang dyno) with his set up. Navi pistons, longtubes, cams, stage 3 heads.

Don't be too disappointed. I just got done building a built 2v .020 over home worked pi heads cammed, intake, carb, LT's and a lot of timing and only runs 14.6 at 98. Pretty sure that trap is good for like 280 hp. Pretty disappointed in that and I put a lot of money in to it. But wasn't built for n/a hopefully will make good numbers when boosted.

Wasnt built for n/a explains the "a lot of timing". Your compression must be hovering in the 8.1range

Closer to 10.1, I took it to the track with some 110 and each pass added another 8-10 degrees. She likes it, pulls hard all the way to 7.5k haha.

But I will get it professionally done when it is boosted. I don't want to deal with expensive "learning experiences" with a blow through turbo setup.

compression+E85= yes please! haha

We had a Sunoco here years ago that sold 116, but they took the pump down (it was in it's own little section by the vacuums)

There is only 2 places in Colorado Springs with it. And it is not close to me. But e85 is every where now with all the kum n go stations every where.

The station has a nice selection of fuel. they have high 90's unleaded and some low 100's leaded and unleaded.

It's not really that uncommon. We have stations around here in northern Indiana that sell 110 octane and call it "racing fuel" and to no surprise they sell out of it fairly quick.
