Just was pondering the idea the other night...would a 5R55S 5 speed automatic for the S197 Mustang bolt up to a SN95 mustang 2 valve? its the same block right? Would there need to be any new calibrations to the ECU? How about trans mounts and shit like that? Just wondering, cause the 5R55S has 4 forward gears and a overdrive gear, great for the freeway cruises....

not sure if itll work, but be careful with those 5r55's. If you make anywhere near 500 youll blow the input shaft out. Trust me, a guy i know has blown 3 already in his supercharged 05. Hes even had it rebuilt twice and the builder says he does about 2-3 a week for the same problem.

im sure they will have a fix for the input shaft sometime soon.....
as for controlling the trans, i wonder if the SCT can do something about it.....
