8.8 axle swap

Right I get that, I will try and locate a new edge axle to swap in. I also found out that 99-04 lower control arms use 14mm bolts instead of 12mm bolts. I will just drill out the mounts on my car to except the bigger bolts. This will also allow me to find an axle with 355 gears and mabe 31 spline set up.

So the moral of all this is:

99-04 8.8/7.5 is a one off and you *should* keep those year axles with that length 8.8.

I measured the 99 8.8 I have and got 57 3/4" just using a tape. From end to end.
