Hi everyone, looking for a 94-95 underdrive water pump pulley. If someone has one in a set and is only willing to sell the set as a whole, so long as it is reasonable, I am willing to buy. I will pay for shipping. I need one to tighten up my belt a little as nobody makes a proper size belt for my application (smaller crank pulley, no A/C, no smog).

If you want the correct part for the job, why not contact Lee at Auto Specialties Performance (https://www.autospecialties.com/) and have him manufacture precisely what you need? You will need to give him the size you're looking for. It's not a low-cost option, but it will be exactly what you'll need.

I hope this helps

I did try ASP but they want just over 150 USD for a pulley. Can’t spend that kind of money for one pulley.

A good autostore can find a belt in exactly what size you need. If you know how to read the codes they include a length in the number. What belt are you currently running?

Vbelts4less lists 176 different sizes of 6 rib belts

I thought you could get just about any size ya need if ya know how, or the person behind the counter knows how. Measure the length with some string to start.

Well I’ve narrowed it down to two sizes, one that is too small, and one that is too big, 2018 and 2020. That is why I want to change the pulley so I can either tighten up this belt or at least have a belt that will fit properly.

There is only 2mm difference between those two belts. Sounds like the way you are running the belt makes the tension idler pulley useless. There should be about an inch (25mm) of play taken up by the tensioner.

take a piece of wire or string and run it around the way you want it and then measure it and I bet someone here can help you find the one you need

I’m running the belt factory routing minus A/C and smog, and on a side note, ordered an old steel set off eBay. Will see if it tightens things up. Most likely I will need a new belt, but at least I am not stuck between the two sizes. I’m surprised everyone is saying that a belt should be available. I haven’t been able to find anything at all.

as they said above they make belts in 1/2" lengths to be able to cover almost any length from long to short. If you are getting those lengths above from internet/facebook mechanics you would be amazed how often people come on here saying they used XXXX belt as they were told and it doesn't work, nothing works....

Again to be sure what belt you need, it starts by measuring the length. It only takes 2 mins once you find some wire/string and after that it should not take a whole lot longer to find the right belt.
