Hey guys, new here but I’ve been messing with mustangs for over 20 years. I put it down for a while and now have the itch to drag my 94 cobra out. It’s been through a lot of variations, hci with s-trim, r block 331 with stand alone and novi 2k, and now it just has a hci 306 and the 5spd.

What’s available now that’s sn95 specific? Looking for something equivalent to an s-trim. Looking used also. 8-12lbs. 500ish to the tire.

Thanks

If you’re in CA with all the emissions requirements, Vortech (various S-trims) is the only one that I know of. If you’re not in CA, ProCharger, Ken Belle and more available

Procharger does make a smog legal version of the supercharger kit for the 94-95 Mustang. It’s not a bad kit, but for the money and the power level you’re trying to get I would go with the vortech V3. Installation is pretty easy and straightforward.

That's got pro charger written all over it. You won't get 500 out of a KB without supporting mods, then you have to find one as they don't make them anymore. That's what I have and I'm about 400 to the wheel. But glad I went that direction as they're fun as hell to drive. I beat cars that I have no business out runnning. Look for a 2.1 kit if you can, I have a 1.5 that's pushed to its limit. I would have gone procharger but my KB is pushing my stock cobra engine to its limit, no need to go further unless I want to crack open the engine. Pro charger is intercooler which is very nice, especially if you're in a hot environment

Used vortech kits are everywhere. Not to say you cant find a procharger kit but Vortech is like the foxbody of blowers they made millions of them.
