What size Throttlebody is on the 94 gt's!!!
God it's been so long.....I wanna say that it's a 50-55mm
58mm I believe. Really all you need to know is "too small."
Yep ^^ 58mm. Get a 70mm if you get anything. All the manifolds I know of have 70mm openings.
trickflow trackheat has 75mm O0
It's also not legal where I live, so I don't even bother looking at the specs.
do u need a carb number for a throttle body???? only bbk has a carb number and i wanted to give summit TBs a chance but no carb #.
In some states like cali,yes...or they will fail you.
Willis,I would just get a 70mm,anything after that is just overkill on a n/a engine. You also will loose a little throttle response down low,but it will level off on the top end.
Yea i figured that a 70 would be the best bet.. I can pick up a FMS 65mm TB for 25 bucks.. Would that be ok for now....
I was talking about the trickflow intake, not the TB.
$25 is an insane deal for that....grab it!!!
Unless you're blown, you won't see any difference between a 70mm to a 65mm....atleast with a 65mm you get to have better throttle response.
K ill pick it up...
is there any diference between the 87-93 TB's and ours....its gay that accufab doesnt make one for us :nonono:
Ford went to a 60mm for the 94-95's
yea but i want to know if the 87-93 ones (like accufab ones) will fit on 94-95 cars
No we use different TB's then the foxes here is a great read from Hardcore50.com
http://bbs.hardcore50.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=26335&highlight=Cobra+intake **On the second page George Klass (Accufab) sayes exactly WHY Accufab does not make a TB for 94/95 mustangs** Do not buy a TB based on size but a TB based on how much CFM the engine can use.
And yes 94/95 use a 60mm TB stock
aacufab is ignorant though do they not realize how many people are not running stock intakes....and have NO egr's....they should really re-consider making ones for us...
