Sure makes sense for some reason when I see that type of intake I think carb lolol.
Ya I'm hoping that black friday will have a great sale on some heads !!!

The problem with this car is it needs a engine I'm not sure I'm keeping it so I figured put a 351 in it and a blower and f- cam.
If I sell the car I can take the blower off.

With a great set of heads say 2900 for 205 11rs be a pain to take off at that time.

Gotta pull the intake to get the heads off .

I would pull the whole combo out before pulling heads and the blower and just slap a junkyard 302 back in

But if I sell it I'm not takeing the heads off honestly it's just a driver so as much as I want 205s they're better off on a better car .

Doing a 351w with small heads ain’t worth the effort . 185’s are for 302’s. . I’ve got 190’s on my stock bottom end 302 . It will still be way better than a 302 but will have lots left on the table .

You use 302 parts on a 351 and you make 302 power . It’s simple math

I understand and that makes sense well the good thing is if I put the 351 in and hang a blower on and I end up selling it the next person can go from 302 power and make 351 power.

I’m just not sure why you’re planning to do anything if you’re gonna just Goona part it out later

The engine is out .I have to put a motor in it.
But I don't plan on keeping the car for more than a year or two.

If by some small chance I decided to keep it the platform whould be there.Or if I sell it the next person will see it there.

But I don't think they will pay for 205 11 r heads.But for the same price as a 302 I can put a 351 one in .

He did back to back fuel injection was 30 hp less.

Funney the 185s did not do to bad either sure 205s whould have done better.

He seemed to Relly like that carb combo with boost he wanted to run a cx intercooler with e85 on it .

Yea the 185’s did ok but 205-225 would make leaps more power . Heads are usually the biggest expense . You’ve got your mind made up so looking forward to the build . I’ll be sure to follow along . 30hp ain’t enough for me to wanna tune with a screw driver I’ll stick with my efi

Just showing you what some more experts are saying.
Sounds like your a efi expert you tune yours never had the dyno man clean up your tune.

lol my tuner went 5.774 at 248 in the 1/4 mile yesterday in qualifying . What makes my combo so special ? It’s a stock bottom end 302 that’s made north of 500whp for years . It’s fine I’m not here to argue with you . You do what you wanna do and your budget will allow . I’m Goona start pulling my engine and trans to get ready for the 351w swap . I never once said my combos so great . Looking forward to updates on your build process

Most efi guys are at the mercy of a good Tuner to clean and clear it up.

Where the fuck did I laugh at carbs ? Are you a girl or something ? Changing everything I say around . I said 30hp ain’t enough for me to wanna tune with a screw driver I’ll stick with my efi . I’ve got nothing against carbs they work well and make great power . I’m doing a carbed 6.0 Ls in my 75 k5 blazer . Thankfully I have a great tuner and know how to tune myself. If you wanna go the blow through carb route that’s cool and I’d love to see the build as it it progresses .

No girl here just to clarify that.
It is just a cheap build and again probably not a car I will keep a long time but I'm keeping the options open just in case.

But on that note depending how cheap I go with it .Parts will be 351 rollor
Summit F Cam.
Dart or Lmr 185s.
And maybe a Carb but I have allready cleaned up the engine bay and all old wireing so again time will tell.

If the body of the car was nicer I'd go all out with tfs11r 205 heads and my turbo system I allready have for the next car and Holly efi.

This is just a beater stang till my next build I like discussing ideas with people heck why do some of the biggest corporations have a board of directors. Because not one person has all the answers.
