I have a '95 GT which did not come with keyless entry, and doesn't have the plugs in the trunk for it. I also happen to have a '94 GT parts car which does have the keyless entry.

So you can probably see where I'm going with this. I've traced the taillight harnesses up to the driver side kick panel area, where it merges with the dash harness through a large square connector. Another smaller portion of the harness appears to continue out through the firewall, I haven't pulled out the inner fender splash guard to see where it's going yet. I had someone with an EVTM look that connector up, and it appears only one wire on the dash harness is different between factory keyless entry vs. non keyless. Does anyone know what this wire does?

I really want to avoid having to pull the dash and change the whole dash harness if I can avoid. Ideally I'd like to be able to just swap the tail light harness and door harnesses and be on my way. Possible?

Hopefully this picture will display:

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm trying to figure out. It LOOKS like it may be the wire that allows the keyless module to turn the dome light on.
