I have a 95 V6 convertibe. The battery went dead from sitting. When the battery was replaced the panic alarm went off and no one could figure out how to repair it. The remote was not working. Several mechanics, a lock smith and a ford garage couldn't stop the alarm from going off. They all just disconnected the controller and said it was bad. Ford said controller was no longer available. I hate to give up. Tried one last time today. I plugged in the controller one last time and tried to cycle the door locks on the drivers door panel. It reset the controller.
