I've been challenged by a guy at school to run a race at the track. He has a bone stock gt mustang 5 speed. I dont know which year but its a new edge sn95. I got 4:10 gears. a b&m shifter with a pro5.0 stick, mac cat back, bbk shorty equal length headers, bbk under drive pullies, bbk70mm tb, bbk cai. a spec aluminum fly wheel and spec stage 1 clutch kit. and oh yeah in case you didnt notice my car is also a 5 speed. My car has been lowered so that might help a little aero wise. Thats all the performance mods i can think of. Lets say with equal drivers, who would win? and i got 285 wire sumitomo htrz II tires
That will probably hurt you in a drag race... if he is stock then you are probably equal in hp so its a drivers race.
and try getting traction with the sumi's.. :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: I know I can't hook up with 315's to save my life... It all about getting sideways in my car :hammer:
