:dancing6: A thread about you. I was going to PM you, but since the HID subject seems to be big this week.. why not make it public so everyone can decide if they want theses hids.

Can you please post pictures of your car @ night time with your hid lights?

Question: Is your kit 100% plug and play? I won't have to do any cutting will i?

Question 2: Is it hard to install these? Where did you mount the Ballast?

Is this the right kit for the brightest white light? I want to light up the road with pure whiteness. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9007...ryZ36476QQihZ003QQitemZ130077677555QQtcZphoto

Re: 95KBGT

OK heres the thing, i have aftermarket projectors in mine. If you want the brightest kit its 4300 however it has a yellow tint to them. if you want a brilliant white with a little blue thats 6K and mine are 8K

the kit was very easy, however im not sure if it was my headlights or the kit but i had to dremel out a little. Im sure it was my headlights tho. It is completley plug and play. the key to finding a good HID kit is to make sure they use name brands on their balasts. like phillips etc. the only downside to your headlights is once you put these in you will not have Highbeams..now you wont need the highbeams after these are in, but inspections you may. You can get the Bi xenon ones from that guy (the link you posted is the same guy i used) and for more money send you the ones with low and high beams but i have never delt with those.

Looks good i found another good kit on ebay i believe:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Xeno...tegoryZ36476QQihZ013QQitemZ230076016148QQrdZ1

Its on sale for $100 on there main site: http://www.xenonrider.com/flyersale/9007_xenon_hid_kits.shtml

However, the Ballasts is made by, "golden eye" Is that a good brand??
NO NO NO. if you have to ask or wonder if a certain brand is good its not. Trust me get the HID's from the first link. they are made in korea (better than japan crap) they have a 1yr full warranty no questions asked, and they got here in 3 days to texas. Use your best judgment on the ballasts. LIke i said Phillips is great, and like GE etc. Golden eye does not ring any bells except the n64 game.

Re: 95KBGT

here in tx its part of the saftey portion of your inspection. The HI BEAM INDICATOR has to be on/working. and you have to have highbeams, but sometimes you can slip the guy like $20 to pass it anyways, its a very small thing that tends to get overlooked ALOT

Re: 95KBGT

Wow, that is shitty. Looking @ wikipeda it doesn't list my state (illinois) for those inspections.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_inspection
and it doesnt list it here: http://www.math.byu.edu/~bill/Safety-Emission-Regs/

I was about to go nuts!!!!!!111 :comando: I already got a catted midpipe which cost me big bucks. I dont want to throw away money for some hi/low beam hids damn it :police:

I dont even see a bi kit for the 9007.

Also, where did you mount the Ballasts at under your hood?

Re: 95KBGT

Thanks for the replies. Answered all my questions :thumb:

1 more question. You mentioned the brighest bulbs are the 4300K. On his ebay page the lowest for 9007 is 5000K :-\ Im going to order the 6K since its brilliant white :thumb:
His graph lists more though:

Re: 95KBGT

stangmods.com has the high/low beam combo...you will need to have both to pass inspection....thats one of the reasons everyone doesn't have HID's.

Re: 95KBGT

Those projectors above take a 9005/9006 combo not a 9007. I think they would use a H1/H3 HID setup.

Re: 95KBGT

just get HID's to fit your new projectors. cause your new projectors should have a wiring harness included to convert your 9007's to whatever those bulbs are for that.

soo..

9007--->wiring harness to convert to whatever the new headlights take---->HID kit------>Your headlights

thats what mine is...here is mine

9007---->9005----->9005 HID kit---->Projector Headlights

Re: 95KBGT

just contact the seller and ask what size bulbs are the low beams, and upon further review, you have sepereate bulbs for high and low beam, so your okay to put these in legally.

Re: 95KBGT

first you need to confirm what bulbs you need for those, you are ebay shopping so you never know, then you need to contact the HID guy and tell him what you have and what you want...
