Better view :), Wheels coming soon, the stock look of the rear offset makes me want to shoot myself.

Updating after quite some time. Not a whole lot different, other than the PI intake swap that you guys might have seen in the 2v section. But here are some of those photos.

Dirty Engine Bay.....

Nice to see another 248a out there and being saved. Mine will likely get repainted this summer- baby#2 coming soon, so we won't be going to Carlisle this year. Frees up funds for paint though!

I like the chin spoiler. I'd love one like that for mine, but longer and set back further, a la 69 boss 302. Custom maybe?

Which red is the car? Ford had several back then. Mine was originally deep forest green/saddle cloth. Someone half-assed a coat of construction orange on it, that is where it's not flaking and peeling.

Is the shifter kart yours?

Tom

Chin Spoiler is a new edge Mach One Spoiler, if you want a bigger one, look at the Shinoda one.

It's E8, Rio Red.

as for the kart; its mine though its not a shifter. I have three and run races throughout the midwest with a couple different karting organiztions. You can find some of my gopros at www.youtube.com/garrittpwl

I'll look into that spoiler, thanks!

Rio red looks great, I hope it fades less than the laser red did on my dad's 01 gt. Nice car!

We ran karts w 5hp Briggs engines back in the late 80s/ early 90s. One 2 cycle, one 4 cycle. The people were nice until we started winning. The first track was wka, the second ikf. Neither sanctioning body was worth a damn, lol. But I learned a great deal about engineering and racing at an early age. I'm thankful for that.

Been a long time since this thread has been updated. I still have the car as anyone in the SN95 groups on facebook as probably seen but the build has been severely updated and the orginal title of this thread "stockish" I'm afraid does not apply any longer. lol I'm going to update OP with a new "build" sheet and some photos for anyone that is interested.

Thanks man. Just wrapped up the cowl hood paint yesterday.

Sharp hood, does it add a lot of clearance for the engine? And are you still rocking the stock grey cloth seats? How do or did you like them? Ive sat in the sn95 leathers but wondered the comfort difference betweem the cloth ones and the tweed looking jobs
