How’s it going new to the forum and mustangs. I have recently been looking into getting another mustang I have found a 96 with a bad transmission I’ve thought about the auto rebuild or just buying a new/used one but I would much rather a manual swap. Anybody know what I would need and what year mustangs I could pull t45s out of? What I would have to do with wiring’s harness, would it be easier to find something from a 96? Anything helps.

Welcome to the forum, the swap is not very difficult. To get the easiest swap done, you’d get all the parts from a 96-98 mustang gt. Pedal box, transmission harness, engine spacer plate, clutch, transmission, crossmember, driveshaft, shifter, shifter boot and bezel, and a couple odd and end things.

You’ll need a tune for it to run correctly.
