its a pretty easy swap, get under the car and try it out. then we'll all know :thumb:

i know with Mac h-pipes there are 2 different part numbers for the 96-98 and the 99-04 :dunno:

i think its all about the tranny mounts if im not mistaken

I have a h pipe off an 02 on my 97. the only difference is the hangers for the tranny.

I have the VRS catted x-pipe I had on 04 on the 96. And I have a bassani O/R x-pipe for a 96-98 on the 04. Never had a problem with either...

yep thats the only difference. You can have a shop weld them on if you want for cheap.

I don't know it the mounts for an xpipe or hpipe differ but I have an xpipe that came off a 99+. On mine the mounts where the xpipe connects to the headers were completely different. I had to cut off the stock mounts and weld them onto the xpipe to make it fit. (Prolly the most get r done thing ive ever done. lol) Im not sure if its the same with an h pipe but id def look into it first
