96-98 GT 2v Bullitt Intake Swap.

Has anyone here converted their 96-98 GT 2v over to the bullitt intake? tired of the plastic ones cracking and having to replace. Just picked one up off ebay. Wondering if there is anything i should know or start locating for parts to convert it over. The intake will be coming with fuel rails, throttle cable, injectors, throttle body, egr tube, hoses, cold air intake sensors.

You'll need the alternator and cruise control cable. There may be more.

I've done it..

other than the intake you'll need

fuel rails (bullit rails wont work on 96-98, im unsure of the stock 96-98 rails will fit w/o changes to the crossover tubes)
cobra alternator
throttle body
CAI elbow (IAT and Maf sensor can be reused from 96-98)
coolant tube (the one under the intake in the block valley)
coolant tube nipple from 99+ models (the one that is pressed into the engine block)
EGR tube (egr valve itself is same as all others)
some misc brackets that support the upper intake
alternator bracket
throttle cable
cruise control cable
cable bracket


thats about all, its a pretty simple and straight forward swap. Unless you make it look like this:
