96-98 midpipe vs 99-04 midpipe

hey all...i just bought a 98 gt, and have a friend who is going to be selling his o/r h pipe from his 03 gt, and we were wondering if his midpipe, and for that matter catback would fit mine? thanks guys

They have different hanger positions! It will work, but you will need to do some modification/fabrication on it to make it work!

ya they have diff. hanger positions but nothing a little modification can't fix!

I had one on my car for years, the only problem was it wouldn't clear my new T56, so it's gone now. It was also a little close to the crossmember on the driver's side, and would sometimes rattle, but I could have ground or hammered that if it bothered me that much.
