Recently my 1996 mustang gt has been hesitant under throttle (feels slow). If i give it throttle it sputters along and makes a humming sound especially when i go up a hill. What could this be? i read it could be the spark but i have new spark plugs and wires in the car. The coil pack been on the car ever since i got it. could it be a bad coil pack? Any info would help

Vacuum leak? That could cause the stumble, and the humming sound could be air being sucked into a place it shouldn't and vibrating the hose or something. Vacuum fart :tongue3:?

Make sure sparkplug holes are dry.

I vote vacuum leak do to the age of the car. All of these cars are hitting close to 20 years old now and beyond. Now were seeing typical failures of fuel pumps, corroded rubber lines, etc...

Just had a similar problem and mine was related to fuel delivery. Check fuel pressure.
