I'm trying to buy a 96 mystic cobra, just looking for advice on what its worth.
The car has 73xxx miles, excellent paint/interior, it's caged, full MM suspension, FR500's, rear seat delete, and a vortech v3.
There is more to list, but you get the idea.

What would it be worth? What should I offer?

As low as 7K to as high as 11K probably.

Kinda vague but without knowing anything about the car apart from what you just listed, it's hard to tell.

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it and you should offer a purchase price that's within your budget. My opinion, the book values are almost irrelevant for some of these vehicles. And despite what other models actually sell for relative to their book values, it'll be difficult to find a "nice" '96 Mystic for cheap money. Owners of these cars understand the rarity of them and in some cases asking prices depending on condition, modifications and mileage is usually closer to 10k.

Based on the car you're looking at, I'm willing to bet the owner is on the higher end due to the modifications done to the car and his asking price is over $10k.

Good luck

Thanks for the replies. It seems that even if I pay the asking price, I'll be considered a thief! If I get it I'll post some pics/vids and more details.
Wish me luck!

I wouldn't buy it if I planned to resale anytime soon. SN95's have absolutely terrible resale value. But if you plan to enjoy the car and keep it for a while, I'd pay up to $8000 if it's what you really want.

I don't really care for the color, but overall it's a beautiful car! It has a good amount of mods and isn't riced out.
If I get it, I'd be keeping it to enjoy for a long time.
The buy it now price is $7,500
