Along the lines of a circuit race car. Just looks.

Driven by a tiny bore and more stroke than a 514cuin

Painting wheels isn't hard and doesn't take a ton of time to do it right. Don't believe me, ask Tony. I did my FR500's in a weekend and that was sanding down the spokes and barrels, priming, painting and clearing. Not like you're doing a whole car. If you really want to do something about that texture just get some filler primer and then throw some color and clear and you're done.

The thing is, the primer should bite into that texture fairly well, so a lot of the hard part is done lol

Im not one for painting. Not that I cant do a good job. Its the machinist in me to be meticulous. Im happy with the results of what I got. I really want different wheels, but these will have to do. You guys are great motivators with tons of knowledge and I thank you for the insights.

I got the fuel tank drained out. Very simple process! I had to complicate the situation over thinking I needed to drop the tank. Luckily I got peoples on tap!!! Genius peoples!!! All I had to do was ask.

Ol'boy said "just unplug the inertia switch and use a 12v source of power grounded to the car and the hot side to the harness plug. Figure out the one that makes it run and let it pump it out". Of course I had a jug over the fuel rail feed line to catch the fuel. Worked like a dream!

I wouldn't have thought of that. I would have done it the old stupid way. Hoisting down a full tank praying to God a spark doesn't go anywhere lol

Now that's a smart move, I've never thought of draining the fuel that way... Another trick to thank you for down the road! The heads look fresh and clean, hope you can get it back up and running soon
