Whats up fella's i haven't been on here in awhile but I think I have my mind set on my build so im gonna just buy a 96-98 cobra motor & swap it ya know? I feel its easier to drop $3200-$3500 on a whole motor versus piecing a junkyard motor together & yes its has an fuckin 4r70w [emoji28] transmission but im planning for boost with this 4v instead of boosting a 2v. First off is a all n/a 4v & yes i mean cams, ported heads, cold air, longtubes, gears. That should put me around 365rwhp through an AUTO plus after I break in the motor the next year I will be putting a roots blower on top to really party fellas. Whats your opinion on accessories, cooling, miscellaneous parts?

I doubt an N/A engine built for boost is going to make 365. My 5.3 made 329 when it was N/A. But it made a ton more with the boost it was meant to have.

As for the swap itself I'm no help. My last couple cars were 4v from the factory. It might be best to search for the threads from the guys that have done the swap on here.

He might be able to get around there with a 5.4 4v but its a tight fit. Op if youre going to boost it I wouldnt worry about na numbers. Also Im not sure anyone makes a roots type blower for b heads.
