I want to start a build thread with my LS swap that will be done on a budget. I am starting with my 98 GT 5 speed basically stock. The power plant will be an iron 4.8/5.3/6.0 family LS with a TH400 high stall and manual valve body. Thanks for checking it out guys!

I called my guy at "The Mustang Shop" here in Alberta, Canada and ordered the first piece to the puzzle. A tubular K-member by UPR. $450 shipped to my door. It will roughly be two weeks before it arrives.

Backed into the tiny garage of mine (but it serves it's purpose)

Started by removing the hood, fenders, bumper

Removed wiring, a/c system, cooling system, power steering pump, intake, alternator, x-pipe

Sweet. A lot of people here may give you guff about putting a bow-tie engine in a 'stang, but whatever. Keep us posted, man.

What are your plans/goals for the car?

Dude keep this thread detailed and up to date. I was considering either a 4v swap for next year or an ls. Subb'd!

I haven't done any research on what it would cost but I would like to know what kind of budget. Your car is a twin to mine, I like it!
