98 mustang axle

i have 98 mustang that i swaped a 5.0 into and im lookin for a 8.8 rear end.......i have a mark 7 8.8....will this work and would it cause tire fitment problems i know its a bit wider than the one i acually need .....any comments...thanks

it's dang near a drop in,i did one on a 97 V6 last year.you can also just swap the axles/brakes from your original rear end if its all in better shape
