Wow, you have been busy. I like how hammered that old bushing is and I'm jealous of the Tork tech...

Yeah while I was jacking up the rear end I notice how the upper control arm bolt would move in relation to the control arms ahhhh lol

And yeah I am still on he hunt for a used lower intake set for the tork tech but I may just buy the whole tuner kit and go from there. Kinda wondering how much power the 2.65 pulley would make lmao

Since my bumper support has been wrecked since before I owned it 14 years ago, I decided to get a 02-04 bumper support so the heat exchanger mount will just go into place verses cutting holes into my damaged bumper support.

Did run into a small issue. It doesn't have any place to mount fog lights...IMG_20190303_194224353.jpg

Well finally took the time to put on my new bumper support and heat exchanger brackets on today IMG_20190308_115338186.jpg

And here is how big of a dent is in the old bumper

Found out the 99-04 support is 2 inches narrower that the 94-98 but it bolts right up

Also found out the bumper doesn't have any holes in it for the fog lights either

I know no one will see the red bumper support, but it would have bugged the crap out of me if I left it that way. You would have been able to see it if you got underneath it while on the jacks... So I pulled it back off and painted it. IMG_20190308_150354668.jpg

Well I pulled the heat exchanger spacer kit off so that the stock one will fit and so the bracket is somewhat covered IMG_20190308_175300566.jpg

Well, was suppose to surprise you all, but that didn't go as planned.

I was going to order a 340LPH pump and put it in the tank and be done with the back end of the car. Then my buddies talked me into an 03/04 cobra gas tank and fuel pump setup. They talked about the pros and cons on each side and I found a low mile, used complete tank.s-l400 (2).jpg

Well I bought it and received it yesterday evening...IMG_20190328_163608143_HDR.jpg

Was worried for a minute. Saw one of the tall corners was curved a bit more that I remember seeing. So I open it all up and find this

Was pretty bummed out. Sent pictures to the seller right away. He is working with the shipping company and we will see what happens in a couple days.

In the mean time, I looked all over to find ways to pop the dent out. I shoved a foot ball in there and tried pumping it to 60psi... Didn't work. Gonna try and grind off the coating on the tank and get some jb weld and put a screw/bolt in the epoxy and use a slide hammer in a few days.

I am afraid the shipping company will not say much with the packing job being what it was.
Yea that's what I'm afraid of too. He claims he sold 50 of these tanks just like this. So if not not sure how else I'll go about getting compensation...

I just got a new tank a few days ago and was surprised it didn't have a dent in it. It was in a box wrapped with brown paper. It was not a really stiff box and there was a fair amount of paper but it made it safely.

Well folks, the claim the tank has been denied, and the seller is upset at UPS, but we are working on a deal for either some cash back or parts plus cash. UPS had deemed the tank wasn't sufficiently packaged to their standards and suggest the seller start learned the their packing standards. So I'm keeping the tank as well. I fixed the broken sending unit, and I made a megshift dent puller. Out of a cheap 3/8", 14" long extension, and two 1/2" sockets and a bunch of jb weld lol. It didn't get it a the way out but it came closeish And was able to put a couple layers of new sealer/ etching primer on the tank like factory.... Was a pain in the a$$ taking the JB weld off.

Only picture I had while waiting for it to dry... To tired to have gotten the rest.IMG_20190411_164427476.jpg
