A buddy of mine is looking to swap the auto to a 5 speed in his wifes 99 V6 Mustang.
He's got almost all the parts but is missing a few things like the pedals and transmisson harness.
The main question I have is regarding the ECU.
If a 5 speed ecu is swapped in, will that affect the PATS?
Or can the auto ecu be used still along with an SCT tune (to compensate for the 5 speed)?
