A/C pump whine

Hi all I'm back.
Engine runs good but as soon as the AC pump kicks in the engine almost stalls and the pump starts whining like mad. Is this a clutch issue or is the pump dieing?

pump is dying ..... pretty sure the clutches fail the opposite way. Hows the temprature being produced by the system, cold? have access to check the ac pressure?

How can i check the AC pressure?
The system is producing super cold air still

Youll need a set of manifold gauges to check the low and high side. With a failing compressor youll see a lower pressure differential than a working one. What kind of a noise is it making? Screech? Whine? Rattle?

It's whining when the AC kicks in. But strangely it's quiten down this morning
