Hi everyone.
I'm about to swap over the complete rear end from my 96 GT to a low mileage 5.0 unit I managed to get my hands on and I've just got a couple of questions before I start.
Firstly, in my workshop manual, it mentions marking the drive shaft and diff flange to ensure they retain 'dynamic balance'. How can I make sure they're balanced when i'm fitting a new axle?
Second, the axle is from an auto. I assume the backlash is the same as a 5 speed?
Thanks
Chris
