advise on ferder gap??

my car was in a fender bender before i bought it, what my ? is i have about a half inch gap on the driver side fender where the hood and the fender meet. by loosening the three blolts on the fender and pushing it in some it looks like it will take up that gap i have in my hood. give me your thoughts on what ya think. if i do this will it screw up anything else?thanks

i did it and it didnt bother anything. but i put it back after i notched the hinges for the hood. are u just trying to line up ur hood?

i drilled out the hinges, as far as i could go . after looking at the fender that was hit , it looks like i have some room to play with there., so we shall see.
