Aftermarket ignition on a 98GT

Hey everyone,

:help2:I'm looking for some ideas about what ignition to run on my car. Take a look at my list of mods and let me know what you think will work best. I'm looking at an MSD setup with some sort of timing retard for my boosted motor. Any suggestions from other manufacturers are welcome!

When i was looking into this a few years ago and spoke with MSD they told me our stock setup was very good and to just upgrade the coil packs and wires. There is a thread in the "garage" section about the very topic with alot of input.

oh yeah don't worry about timing retard etc...thats all done in the tune on these modulars...any decent tuner will take care of you.

Good to know. Geez, I have a lot to learn about these mod motors. I'll try to fight the "5.0" logic that keeps trying to find it's way into this car.

i hear ya man, i grew up around pushrods and my brother is still pissed that i have a modular. :
