Hi, I have a 1994 Mustang GT convertible, and now since a couple of days, the airbag light in the dash stays on, no flashing when I turn on the ignition, it just wont come off. I tried to disconnect the battery pole for half an hour, but result was the same. It actually happened a few times earlier, but was resolved if I switched off the Engine and started again, but now it is on the whole time. Now the annual inspection here in sweden is just around the corner and it will not pass with this fault. I red how to reset fault codes via the connector behind the glove box, but does it make any sense since there is no flashing of the light? Any thoughts would be appreciated. If not solved, I cannot use it :-( Regards from Sweden
Factory airbag sensors rust and rot after so long. That's what caused my light to come on. Sensors are just no good anymore. This message courtesy of crapatalk!
