Airbag from a 97 to a 94. Different wiring?

Over the years of my car being apart I lost my air bag. I had a slightly scratched up one in the car for awhile but I just acquired a flawless black airbag from a 97.


It seems the plugs are different from 94 to 97. Does anyone know a fix for this issue? Do I need the harness or plug from the 97 to make it work or should I splice in the plug from my scratched 94 airbag into the 97 airbag?

Never had this issue, but if your ever intending to sell the car at some point, then have it professionally installed. If not then go for the splice if the volts match!

Get a year correct air bag. Font risk pluging it in and have it blow.
