and here's whats going in/on the car (so far)

MOTOR:
60K Mile 01 PI Motor (swapping usable parts/bolt ons from existing motor)
Comp Stage 1 Cams (opted for cams over long tubes)
BBK O/R X Pipe
C&L Upper Intake Plenum (cast)
BBK/Roush 75mm TB
Re-Dyno Tuned (1 stock/3 custom tunes) SCT Eliminator Switch Chip FTW!!

SUSPENSION:
Lakewood Traction Action Lift Bars
Torque Box Reinforcement (lowers only)
MM Full Length Subs
Trickflow Rear End Girdle

of course there will be odds and ends stuff that comes up but this is basically it... whatcha think?

yeppers, shes still bruised. im doing paint LAST!!! im real funny about that stuff... all it would take is one little mistake and my paint could be screwed. since the wreck ive really let the paint go, bumpers are fading out... it's looking pretty hammered :-\

i dont know or really care when i get it back... this guy does the job right! im also still waiting on some parts to come in and he's going to figure out/fix my electrical issue (long story).

the paint had issues either way... vinyl messed it up pretty good, the paint itself is one of the ones that just starts coming off. all in all, i think i kept it as nice or nicer than anyone else's for as long as possible... its just beyond fixable in a few areas. the car has 170K+ on it :dunno:

Thanks Jeff!! im prepared to wait... seems any performance work takes 2-3 times as long as they tell you it will. im not worried though, i know Jim does exceptional work and if he's taking extra time its only so its done right.

as far as my paint... its hard to screw up perfection so its definitely going to be the same color. ive got some ideas in my head but i dont know if there's anything i wont get tired of :dunno:

Today/Tomorrow I'm deciding with my painter what to do on my paint job. will be interesting.
they're doing some sketches for me. Have you seen my body progress?

BTW, my car get's buffed 2 days after spray, for that liquid sex look >

I've got them in my hand now. Just got back from the shop.
Paid off the labor for all the body work - OUCH-

They were some concepts, I like things here and there.
He's doing a few more that we narrowed out on what I liked.
I'll post them up later tonight.

So how many months did the shop "say" it would take to finish your ride?

i didnt get a set time that it would be done... is that bad? LMAO!!!

he said he'd call me at the end of this weeks to let me know where we are. he's going to be working on my mystery electrical issue before he does the motor swap.

oh here's an update... i thought they were VT cams, turns out theyre Comps :dunno:
