I just don't tell her, as long as the purchase is under $200 I really don't get questioned.

When your married it just takes longer to gather the parts needed compared to when I was single and could order $1000's of dollars of parts in one phone call and not worry about divorce.

Makes me sad, I really wanted someone else to be the guinea pig lol.

This reminded me of a meme I saw the other day that said "the magic wand that makes racecars disappear". It was a pic of a pregnancy test stick.

Local guy installed one and had no complaints. I've read a lot about people seeing good gains with one ported with forced induction, but many still suggesting to stick with pi or eddy

Aren't the metal intakes known for heat soak? I was always told NA regular PI is the way to go unless you're pushing closer to 400hp.

Stock pi or eddy seems to be the winning ticket! Trustworthy and potential, but hard to beat the price of the ebay intake over Ford pi intakes. Aluminum dont melt like the plastic.

yes the metal intakes will hold more heat and also last almost for ever unless you really screw up good.

Have you tried looking for an SVO intake (96-98 non PI heads)? A Bullitt intake or Trick Flow are aluminum and are a much better alternative to the aluminum PI intake copy. Unless you have a built engine, a power adder or only care about top end performance, the Edelbrock Vic Jr. probably isn't for you either.

Those are great ideas, but the cost of the ebay copy just about shoots any other idea out. The performance of the said intakes are definitely proven though and the history of them makes up for the price,..if you can swing it
