Hello. I recently put a replacement stock clutch, new TOB (ford) Pilot, and surfaced the flywheel. My clutch pedal sits very high, but picks up close to the floor. Still have the factory cable and adjuster. I did the adjustment procedure, but instead of clicking a few times when you pull up on the pedal it just kind of slams into one position with the cable tension on it. It shifts kinda clunky and unsmooth between gears, and you have to let the pedal almost all the way up before it engages. Is my factory adjuster toast? Everything seemed fine before the install. thx

The pedal at rest position should kinda just be dangling with enough tension to "just" keep it in the rest position. Sounds to me like their is to much tention. Maybe the cable is not laying in the quadrant properly? Adjuster to tight?
