Here's a good example from a 10.53 timeslip:
60 foot = 1.584
1/8th mile = 6.622 @ 108.107 mph
1/4 mile = 10.533 @ 109.766
Now .. .either my car only gains 1 mph between the 1/8th and the 1/4 . . or I'm basically coasting from the 1/8th mile mark. So, to answer that question, we go to another timeslip:
60 foot = 1.507 (I'm now in the 1.40s)
1/8th mile = 6.591 @ 106.75 (I'm at about half throttle on this run)
1/4 mile = 10.283 @ 131.913 (and I'm still not completely in it)
