It was 10.82 @ 99.6 mph. lol. Funny thing is it felt nice and straight . . . at least nothing that caused me to flinch.
99.6 mph? Wtf, lol - that car must have some serious capabilities then, cuz i hit 100 doing a 13.9 Edit: I see you let off of it at the end there
lol, yeah, I think that was a typo. Oh, and did your foot slip off the gas a couple of times at the end?
Nope. Not a typo. I let out of it to avoid running in the 9s. Ive made several mid 10 second passes where I'm 108mph at the 1/8th mile and right at, or just below 100 at the 1/4. My foot didn't slip . . I lifted. After I make my license passes on March 10th, I'll get to find out how fast it'll go. I'm thinking around 9.40ish on the current tune. It's already been 10.24 @ 132 mph on a soft launch and never past 3/4 throttle. :bunny3:
No . . . there will be, at least, two nine second passes on March 10th. In order to get my license, I need to do the following passes under supervision of two license holders and the track manager: One eighth mile pass Three "Moderate Passes" (usually low 10s) Two "Full Passes" (both have to be in the nines) March 10th also happens to be the Club Day for our local stang club . . . so many of our brothers will be there to witness the festivities. Video will . . . of course . . . be provided as soon as practicable. :boink:
Here's a good example from a 10.53 timeslip: 60 foot = 1.584 1/8th mile = 6.622 @ 108.107 mph 1/4 mile = 10.533 @ 109.766 Now .. .either my car only gains 1 mph between the 1/8th and the 1/4 . . or I'm basically coasting from the 1/8th mile mark. So, to answer that question, we go to another timeslip: 60 foot = 1.507 (I'm now in the 1.40s) 1/8th mile = 6.591 @ 106.75 (I'm at about half throttle on this run) 1/4 mile = 10.283 @ 131.913 (and I'm still not completely in it) Just wait til I put a full run on it . . . :bunny3:
OMGGGGGGG TAD!!!!! HOLLY FREAKING COW MAN! first time i got to watch the vid... you have that freaking steering wheel like turned all the way! dood that thing is a monster! put a passenger seat in for one run so i can ride along!!
I'd love to give you a ride!! But, I need a double funny car cage (both driver and passenger side) to take a passenger. So . . . you'll just have to get your nine second license so you can drive it!!!! :noes:
