Antenna broke with in base thats connected to the fender...

Basically at the end of the antenna were it screws into the base of the fender is "broken". Meaning that part is stuck into the base and i am out of ideas fixing it...I was thinking of going to a shop to get it fixed but im afraid what they might charge alot.

What happened was last year it was cold out and i over torqued the antenna and it snapped...idk what was i thinking but i did it...any suggestions?

You could drill it and then use a easy out to remove it.

pop the cover off the part attached to the fender and replace the whole thing.

youcan it it from a Junk yard...its pretty much the same part on my fords. Just pop the plastic cover off, and you will see three screws. Remove the screws, then unplug the coax cable from the base.
