Anybody know about air ride/air bag suspensions?

My 96 cobra is lowered 2 inches and I get tired of speedbumps, driveways etc........ A few months ago I saw on speed channel a company put their "air ride suspension" on a bunch of cars.stangs, vettes, camaros, and let editors of mags test drive them on a race track all day to get a feel for their product. Anybody have any comments or suggestions..?

It's been a few years since I looked at air ride stuff.

back then the ride and handeling suffered.
What did that show say about them?

my friend had one of these on his 97GT and the ride was nice and firm...he needed it because his driveway was very steep. It was expensive though.
