So, I would like to add a little more rumble that the stock exhaust on my '96GT, but I a balking a little bit at spending $500 to get there. I have seen a system from DNA Exhaust on eBay, Amazon, etc. It is a full cat-back system manufactured from stainless, and the cost is about 1/2 of what a Pypes system would cost from LMR or AM. Anyone install one of these? The ads seem to suggest an O/R mid pipe is required, but I can't really understand why that would be necessary. Curious about sound quality and such. Not really expecting any performance gains from this, just looking for a bit more sound.
I have not but fwiw I pieced my exhaust together for a couple hundred. I dont remember exactly how much but it was much cheaper than buying a cat back. And I bought all stainless too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
