Sorry to be technical but the fitting that the hose goes into, what are they called?

That's called a keyboard.


I'd call them pneumatic quick connects, or one touch fittings.
With my R&D project I used SMC for lots of my pneumatic prototyping. They call them one touch fittings.


Here's some general purpose fittings. I'm assuming this isnt something that requires specialized fittings.

Thanks looks like they have everything. Damn its too bad I am not still at intel as they stocked these in the thousands for the fab and the nice clean-room version as well.

Now I just need to decode all the technical crap. Hose size/male/female ends...

If you need any help with the technical crap let me know , i know some from work and a few projects I've done.

I liked SMC, they have everything... They seem like a quality product and have a variety of pricing dependent on what you need. I got everything from them since there was a supplier down the road, fittings, valves, cylinders.

Their catalogs are very nice too.
