Just curious how it looks? I’m always checking out wheels and I seem to lean toward 2-3 different wheels. One of which is the NVX series from SVE.

On second thought.....Doesn’t have to be a black car, just post whatcha got! Thanks!

I like the bronze sve series 3 wheels.

I think you can get away with some bronze wheels on a black hardtop.

black's car colors are close to that. I always thought a copper color would be different and cool myself.

AP,
Series 2 (and 3) are good looking wheels, but for me, the brushed rim (silver) adds one too many colors. I like the one color presentation of the NVX.
Just my unsolicited $.02!!

I wonder what’s the widest tires you can run with the 18x9 and 18x10 combination? LMR’s tire/wheel package lists 265/285 respectively, seems to me that removal of the quad shock would allow maybe up to a 305 rear?

With a 10 inch you can go up to a 315. I'm pretty sure you can go 315 without removing the quad shock. My 98 had 315s and I kept the quads

Can get away with a 275. Most run a 255 but you can go up to a 275

Hi there Daryl. I believe that Bronze or Gold look great on black. Black wheels look like your just waiting for your good wheels to come back from the Cleaners. At least to me. Here is ours. Of course the MACH is staying STOCK. Have a good time looking for wheels. It can be fun, and crazy at the same time. HA. BobDSC00311 (2).JPG 1441488_221824054655470_1758790760_n.jpg

Not a fan of those wheels at all (I've never liked non-tapered spokes), but I like the color combo.

I think I actually like the gold just a bit better, though. Comparing to this, the bronze color looks like "dirty gold" to me. You could add another subtle gold accent (maybe just the "GT" fender badge?), but would have to be careful not to have it turn into an 80's Trans Am look..

Definitely want to avoid that, yes. Maybe the bronze would be the better choice: less like the Screaming Chicken Trans Am black and gold theme; and more subtle an offset color against the black.

P.S.- mine is a Cobra so even IF I went with gold wheels, I would NEVER, NOT IN A MILLION, paint the Cobra emblem gold! We, I just threw up in my mouth a little! On a GT, ok. Cobra... no! ROFLMFAO

My cobra wheels were just spray painted but it might give you an idea. They’re sitting in my garage because I was tired of dealing with a slow leak in two tires.
