Are cobra spindles needed?

Ive searched for an answer and haven't found anything yet. I've been looking into a Cobra brake upgrade and I'm noticing a lot of the packages are coming with the spindles. Are spindles required? I was under the assumption that you threw the rotors, lines, calipers and brackets on and called it a day.

nope not needed...just did this yesterday! rotors,calipers,brackets,lines...good to go
