Are the valve stem seals different from 1994-1998 to 1999-2004

Hey guys I'm planning on doing my valve stem seals but I'm having trouble finding parts.

I have the ford factory service manual from 2003 which indicates that the valve stem seals are pt# 6A517 which look like this and are relatively easy to source.



But when I check It says that they don't fit my 1994 mustang and the only seals I find available are these guys from autozone which look pretty different. So which ones are the right seals for a 1994 v6 and would the first ones work or no ? Thank you for the help !

I don't know if those flared ones would fit, or if the flare maybe just exists to hold it down under the spring? But the 2nd ones are how mine looked on the '96 single port 3.8 .

look it up on Mod Max. I bought a set for my 4.6 2v valves from them not too long ago. I feel like what you're posting is push rod seals and modular head seals (bottom)

I noticed the top photo has eight seals and the bottom photo has six seals so maybe you're comparing a V8 to a v6?
