Ok so some of you know I've been working on a brake upgrade. I have some camaro caliper (same as ats) I plan to bolt on my mustang. Only problem is I didn't want to spend the 175 on the adapter kit

****** I am providing this as an option I in no way shape or form are attempting to call out another business *******

Ok now that being said, I love using what I've got to help the sn95 community. A friend of mine owns a machine shop. I sent him a sketch for the inserts and we've got them completed.

I won't bash the other companies price but my friend is looking to sell these kits at $125. We're working out the details on the spacers now. I bought a set on Amazon and sent them so he could mill and turn them to specs. He's working on using a water jet to make his own but right now not an option.

Here's the spacers that are completely milled and the finished inserts. I'm going to test fit everything this week and make sure it's good to go. Right now things will probably be a made to order basis simply because the spacers.

I'll let you know how it all turns out and when he can be contacted for purchase. I want to confirm they fit before making any sales.

the prices they get for those adaptors is crazy. I had someone ask me about making some and I got the shape down but was having issues on my cnc getting the thickness perfect. It is just not really made for aluminum that thick

In the end though I also wasn't sure I wanted the liability of making brake parts for a DIY conversion. It just seemed that there were so many places that the install could go wrong and that I would end up blamed for some stupid reason and the penalty for failure there seemed to outweigh the benefits.

Yeah that's what my friend said. He'd like to get the price on spacers down too so we'll see if he can cheapen it up. He said they're making a killing. These are just made from mild steel but so far they seem great. I'll have to get some more done in the garage and get them test fit

I think with these most people have an idea of what's going on that there shouldn't be too many issues I hope

I would agree that most people will not screw it up and if they did they would realize it was them that messed up and not blame you. But you get that one idiot that messes it up and has an uncle that is an ambulance chaser and I suddenly understand why they charge what they do. I know there are people looking for them.

Test fit went well. Now time to do the other side and make sure everything is good to go.

I can engrave the powder with the laser, but a decal is much easier. Question is, what should it say?

I bought the "pricey" kit as I didn't want to grind on my Bullitt spindles. Great idea! GLWS!

I've got my paint and primer ready just have to finish the prep work and I'll have them painted this weekend. Going red caliper with a black brembo decal to match the rest of the car

rather than doing the decal, weed the center portions out of it and use the negative portion as a mask to paint it on.

That thought crossed my mind. Unfortunately I purchased decals instead of making my own. So I'll just stick this route

He should be able to make full kits at anytime now. I've got the whole kit installed on my car and it went well. If you're interested shoot me a DM. Let me also find out lead times right now he is modifying existing spacers so that adds a few days cause he's gotta buy them

Don't do aluminum for radial mount caliper brackets, do steel instead. You want the most amount of strength possible because of the loads on that piece of metal, which doesn't have much meat to it.
