auto shifter knob swap

Hello everyone,I'm new here, great site. I have 98 GT with an automatic in it and I want to change the shift knob and I was wondering if anone has done this before?

Not really much to it, there are a couple of screws on the front side of the horizontal shifter, just loosen those up a bit, and pull the thing off, it will probably be on there good at first, but the screws are the only thing really holding it on.

i replaced my whole shifter piece with a b&m hammer...looks like a stick lol, its really nice

I have a 5 spd but I think the b&m hammer looks sick as well as would be sick. How do you like it and how hard was it to install?

mine was just one small allen head screw under the front of the handle...then twist off.

I had one in my 98, It is very cool 8)

I havent really looked hard, but i guess ive never see a b&m shifter for our cars, bout how much are they?
