I've been autocrossing my 1996 SVT Cobra for four years, and last season (2018) I won CAM in the Oregon Region SCCA with it. It's been semi-retired from autocross since then (as I got a 986 Boxster S for CS class), but here is a video:
In my class was none other than Dennis Healy, previous National Challenge winner in CAM. His car is way faster than mine, but was broken a lot more.
During that season I ran square 275/40/17 Falken Azenis RT615K+'s on 17x9/17x10.5 FR500's, QAT tubular CA's F&R, Eibach sways F&R, Steeda bumpsteer kit w/offset rack bushings, Eibach Pro-Street coilovers, Gripp C/C plates, StopTech brakes, and a good competition alignment.
It handles quite well, but it actually way more set up for full on track days than Solo work, and it shows. This off-season I will be updating it to run in National ProSolo next season (2020).
