Aux Port & Cig Lighter don't work...

When I had my 5 speed swap done, jackass cut the wire that goes to the back of the aux port.. Don't even ask me why. So I finally got the wire to replace it, spliced it on... No power.. I remembered that my cig lighter under the ash tray didn't work when I tried it back in January.. Still doesn't work. I checked for power at the wires to the aux port, nada. I removed the center console in hopes of a wire being unplugged. Everything looked fine. I then checked all the fuses under the dash, all were fine. So now I have no console in, the cars a mess. I just want my damn power back. Help?

No sir. Didn't think to check them. Its after 9 here, super dark out. Gotta do it tomorrow, or I'll end up getting run over in the street lol.

Had to take care of family things today so I didn't get to play with the car. Splice job was fine. I've spliced wires dozens and dozens of times without issue

Just checking, I have too. However this past weekend I was working on a friends car that I had done something to probably ten years ago, and my heart cried because of how poorly I operated then compared to now lol

Bump.. I never tended to this issue. Which fuses am I looking for? Lost my Chilton. I have the console out at the moment so I have access to all the wiring and whatnot.

I tried using the fumes excuse once with my wife when she told me I was crazy for wanting to rebuild my stang again.

Needless to say the rebuild is taking a long time and she still thinks I'm crazy!!!
