A lots of Work... ? You only needs 2-3 hours. Thats it. I think is really easy to install.

My mustang is a daily driver and i love this shifter but if you want to use for drag application go ahead, remember, this is a FULL RATCHET Shifter.

i have had this shifter for 4 years now and i freakn love it too. works great with a shiftkit and built tranny. i had problems installing it tho. the interlocking cable was not operating the way it was suposed to and i wanted it to work like stock. with a little bit of thinking about how it operates, i got it to work.

the t handle feels great in the hands too. i have my handle at an angle so it feels alot more comfortable for me.

thanks for the demo vid too

Its pretty easy to install. Take out old shifter, transer all the cables to new shifter, make sure it works. Put it all back together. The time consuming parts are taking out the center consoles and what not

Well, to be honest with you that was the easy part, I’m the guy under the car (see pictures), when gtorange97 said it took about 4 hours, it was like 1 ½ hours to put the shifter in and about 2 ½ to pull me out of the Mustang :hammer:

I just installed my new Hammer Shifter by myself and it took me 1.2 hrs to do in the garage alone ( I have build a-lot of cars though) so if you got some mechanical experience, it is a piece of cake. God I love the feel and how it looks (like a 5 speed) and is deffinatley needed with the new valve body I got, makes manual shifting much-much better.

I finished up my Hammer shifter finally! It works like a charm. I had to order a new shifter cable, mine was cracked and rusted, and not shifting properly, that was the only delay. I also wired it to the existing wires for the O/D and LED light. If I need to see the LED indicator I just put the parking lights on. Kinda cool I thought. I used terminal connectors and heat shrink. Then put plastic flex tubing around the wires in case they bind on something. I like the look and feel of it over the generic stock look and feel. :headbang:
