AirForceHemi and I decided to attack this install......

Okay, so... I started out with a SSAutoChrome FMIC.. and a universal 3" piping kit... it had like 2 straight pieces, a bunch of 90s, and a few other pieces....

The install went rather smoothly. The only "hard" part I'd say was clocking the supercharger.... it was a pain in the arse. Out of all the allen keys I had... I didn't have the right one. I went and bought the right one.... and it wouldn't fit in the tight spaces. We had to grind it down to a smaller size and it was still a pain.

If you stare at the pics long enough.. you'll see what I am trying to show in each...

Basically, remove front bumper, remove crash bar, measure/cut crash bar , drill holes in the top to mount FMIC, mount crash bar with FMIC back up, reinstall foglights, start routing the piping.

If you take your time...it's a very smooth and easy install.

I think it took us from around 3 to 11ish at night... with 3 trips to the auto store and a few breaks for food/drink.

I didn't get to drive it obviously as I live in Alaska and the roads are still crappy... so I didn't get to see how much boost I lost... that'll come in due time.

I was getting pissed off at the bolts to clock the supercharger... lol

BTW: I already ordered tbolt clamps to replace the crappy clamps that came with the kit.

Couple quick pics.. Id have better ones.. but Im not really keen on driving it right now. (this spot was like .4 miles away from the garage)

Doubt it'd affect a lot..... lol

A lot of import FMIC kits require a complete removal of the crash bar....

looks noice...did you have to cut up any of the pipe, or did you just keep connecting stuff until it fit?

The kit needed more straight pieces.. so I had to cut up one pipe to make another straight piece.. other than that .. no.

If I was to do it again.. I'd make sure the person orders a few extra straight pieces.. and some more straight couplers...
