Alright guys Im a little curious what it would take to crack open an autometer gauge or 2 to paint match the needles its driving me insane for the stand point of not having everything uniform and ordely lol any help would be greatly appreciated

Alright beat you guys to it i already popped off the trim ring without screwing it up now to fix the ring itself and paint the needle then onto the next one

Does anyone know of a color for florescent orange to paint the needles to match the new edge clusters?

if you really want them to match then just do all the needles at the same time. Also gives you the chance to pic a different/unique color.

I tried blue but want kind of paint to use? It's a straight up metal needle vs. Our clusters with the clear plexiglass needles

Popped the glass trim ring out then the gasket and glass itself spray bombed the outter trim ring and painted the needle white for now

End result very easy to disassemble pry open the trim ring and slowly pull and twist off the trim ring off i found forceps work great to slowly un bevel the edge then the glass gasket and plastic ring all pop out paint your needles with whatever you'd like paint your trim ring while your at it throw in some leds and you have a custom set of autometer gauges

Sweet! Thanks man i half assed it for now so i could have them in the car again but im definitely touching them up also thought of fitting different needles to them also but it would most likely counter act with the gauge and give me a false reading
