So... I have a 1995 Mustang GTS 5.0 originally a dark green car. i got it for $2400 CAD which around here is an o.k. deal. currently sitting at 206,000Kms on the clock. zero options. I really was pretty set on a 95 sn95 as i have always loved the 302 h.o. and the newer interior with a old awsome powerplant intrigued me. The car has seen a fair amount of neglect and some lousy and improperly done mods. It was spray painted flat black. considering the car the paint job wasn't the worst ive seen. kinda surprising. My plan with the car is to make it a very reliable quick little street car. And she is on her way! I got the car at the end of summer so i drove it for about a month and made it to 1 meet before parking it for our harsh 7 month canadian winter. It was obvious the car was running rough and holding back a bit. after spending some dedicated time behind a computer screen learning about the (new to me at the time) sn95 i prepared myself for a overhaul.. upon inspection i noticed that the pre owner attempted a smog removal, lawl. he removed the valves/solenoids and hosing leaving the air pump and called it a day! no vaccum plugs or **** all. spark plugs were finger tight. ALL of them. bypassed A.C. with a shorter belt once the pump kicked the bucket and called it a day! pcv valve? "what's that?" said the previous owner. vaccum lines? what for.. 215 55 r16 tires? should be good for a mustang!! loose wires? they are fine to just hang. proper fitting battery? what for? people wash engine bay's? ya so you see where this car was going.... The last couple months i have been trying to buy part's and have been slowly stacking them up in my closet to install in the spring time. then one day i saw a note on my apartment door saying heated garage for rent NEXT FRICKEN DOOR!!!! we'll i jumped on that and parked her indoors, finished buying the tools i needed and got to work. currently have everything i bought installed and waiting to buy the rest of the parts! Here`s what ive done so far.tore down everything heads up. (Left heads on). .Cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more under the hood. .Pcv valve and lower seperator. .Flow master cat back dual exhaust with H-pipe. .4 in 1 gauge with shift light. .All vaccum lines. (clear and red tubing was used) .Holley 190LPH fuel pump, fuel tank to filler cap seal. .Kirban Fuel Pressure regulator. .Fuel Filter .MSD Blaster coil .MSD ignition wires,cap,rotor,assembly. (already on car) .unsure of the brand of C.A.I. but it`s nice and goes into wheel well. (already on car) .All upper gaskets. .FULLY removed A.C. system (compressor,accumulator,condensor, all lines) .Properly removed the rest of the smog, plugged holes on back of cylinder head. .sandblasted and cleaned upper intake, throttle body, and pretty much every part and bolt under the hood. .Mr. Gasket Loom kit. .Auto lite #25 spark plugs gapped to .051. . under drive pulley (already on car). . after three trips to the parts store i got the right fitting belt to bypass a.c., smog, and accomodate under drive pulley. .New battery and terminal connectors. .Battery wires. .Chrome valve covers wich didn't fit and were a waste of time and money .Breather caps which didn't fit and were a waste of time and money. . summit fuel pressure gauge and fitting. . 4 in 1 gauge (waiting to install) . Inner fender liner (waiting to install) .Painted upper intake flat black and sandblasted then clearcoted the 5.0 plaque. On the list to get for now.. . In the market and have alead on some cobra R rims. . all around brakes, pads and rotors. (o.e.m.) . Koni sport shocks and struts . eibach sportlines because low... . Rims and tires obviously as stock ones are garbage. . All fluids (diff, tranny, engine, coolant, power steering) . 3:73 gears. .mishimoto radiator eventuallly. .Caster Camber plates. Future Goals and interest's . Heads, Cam, Intake. i would like to keep it naturally aspirated. . Moates Quarter Horse.
